Terrible service, always a loco Dr that doesn't care n doesn't check properly or listen to any symptoms, instead of a resident gp that might , information been given by several women in the office including urgent telephone appointments that when you call to find out where it is, doesn't exist. Do not use this surgery they say they are taking on new patients but they dont deal with the ones they currently have. Very upset n very angry with being messed around for so long by the people that are meant to help.
Can never get a appointment always get told ring at 8am to get a appointment I work I can't do this I have been trying now for over a month I have never known a doctor's to not make appointments!
Awful service, cannot believe the receptionists get away with what they do. They couldn't be more uncaring and down right rude if they tried - with the 'i get abuse every day' aattitude.Self rightous is an understatement. They talk over you, belittle you and getting a smile is like finding a four leaf clover in there! Be grateful and happy you have well paid jobs! So unbelievably miserable and unprofessional. Doctors are not much better.. unsigned prescriptions and doctors letters are a frequent thing... I think it's disgusting that you make an appointment.. if you are five or more minutes late your appointment gets cancelled. Without fail over the years I was with the surgery, not ONCE did I get seen on time not even once. 15-20 minute wait after your appointment time every time. But they'll still cancel your appointment if you're 5+ mins late. How stupid?! I am clinically depressed with an eating disorder. I can honestly say I avoided and even cancelled past appointments due to the cold unwelcoming treatment of the reception staff. I would be too anxious to go in - therefore my health suffered. I had no choice but to move surgeries.To make the point I fully understand and take in to account the state of the NHS at the moment and the strain it's under. It is easy to complain about the things that are out of the doctors control such as lack of appointments. This is something completely out of the surgery's control and it's a shame so many people have spent their time on here moaning about it! My complaint centers around the way the staff treat sick members of the public. A disgusting lack of respect!Take note - the surgery only really seems to respond to positive reviews. Interesting. Another rude receptionist at this surgery today, an absolute disgrace the way she conducted herself. She interrupted me whilst I was explaining my daughter's condition as she was more interested in sending me to another surgery, which was inconvenient for me to say the least. Then she professionally hung up on me, leaving me with a sick child. Shame on you. Don't know her name but I definitely know who this rude dishonourable woman is. I also agree with another comment on here, my daughter has been told automatically she has Asthma but hasn't been diagnosed properly. Now her viral infection is worse because the locum doctor Dr. Tampa last week just referred to her notes, giving her a stronger Asthma pump, a pump she doesn't need. Just as well we have a hospital nearby, the doctor there has helped. The receptionist at Elmdene is a discredit to the surgery. Please remember, we, the Tax Payer, are paying your salary...in case you have forgotten.
Never no appointments, been trying for 3 days to see the doctor, as a and e told me to see gp. after trying a million times to get through, you are met with a rude receptionist who always says you are best queuing outside in the cold in the morning ----- thats ok if you arnt disabled and can stand for that amount of time. The prescriptions are never on time, and for the last year they have never been right and have been left with no pain relief for weeks. official complaints are never responded to. dr chen so unhelpful. dr bora is amazing the nurse is amazing. but it seems since dr langley left a number of years ago, the whole surgery has slowly gone down hill. and is now the worst surgery i've been a patient of. You only need to look at reviews everywhere and social media the complaints this surgery now gets and how the reception staff are still in jobs with how they rude they are is beyond me .
