Nursing and doctors are ok, but unfortunately to get there you have to pass through the appaling service given by some of the receptionists. They decide who to give the appointment and when they are pleased to give it. Extremely poor communication between surgery and hospital consultants. A few times I have had to complaint and chase myself issues with referrals for my children and husband. And not to mention the lack of privacy in terms of making an appointment, as some of them say with al very "loud voice" in front of other patients in the waiting room your confidential health issues.The building is lovely, location is fine, but the service provided by some of them lets the surgery down in a worrying and sad way, as it was never used to be like that.
My daughter was referred back to her dictir to get X Ray done as he feared she may off fractured spine. No appointment s for 3 weeks...no emergency appointment. Rung on day and you can't get through....so had to go and help clog up A&E
The appointment availability is somewhat lacking but otherwise I cannot fault the surgery - the receptionists and nurses are always friendly, courteous and helpful. You are not made to feel rushed and staff are happy to address queries.
Lovely doctors and receptionists, but you are meant to come 10mins before your appointment, to ensure your not holding the sugary up... but you are still sat waiting 30mins or longer after your appointment time... in the 13 years I have been at this surgery I have never once been seen ON TIME.
Doctors and nursing staff I can not fault however what lets them down is how rude some of the receptionists are and their lack of compassion and customer service On several occasions been told no appointments and have to call at 8 or come and sit and wait in surgery - also on occasion when I have needed an appointment for my child
