Great shop go there al the time x
Maybe New Years Eve was not the best time to pop in, but even so it was complete bedlam. There was barely two members of staff to deal with hundreds of customers who were finding themselves frustrated by self service tills that basically didn't work. It was an awful experience. Never again. Horrible, grubby place.
When you are the worst performing of the big four supermarkets you need to up your game, or in the case of this store give up completely. For you to be profitable you need customer to be able to buy what they need, this seemed to be an issue in a store that had no stock out yet remained cluttered. No staff member taking control of self scan meant that it was a free for all, the girl on the desk next door may noticed if she had looked up from flirting with the Asda ace who was leaning on the counter (looking at the state of the store I think he may have had some work to do). If you did find something on the shelf you wanted chances are that it didn't have a price on the shelf (maybe that's because by the time you got to the till the price may have changed). The toilets in the cafe were locked an hour before the store closed (the rest of the Asda aces were having a nice break in the cafe). Brand standards were appealing and no one looked like they were managing the colleagues (half of who looked like they had just walked off of Ru Paul's drag race and the rest wearing uniforms that could have been used by extras on the walking dead). Hopefully Sainsbury's will turn this bunch around
Very good and big store, has virtually everything! Food at the hot food counter is very tasty, tech is put on sale very often and if you have the right timing, you could get a USB car charger for as little as 50p! Cat food and products are very trustworthy and our cat seems pretty happy with them! We've been going there for such a long time doing our weekly shop, that we now even have a routine of going around the store! Great place, must visit!
Always helpful and shelves well stacked.Staff readily available to help. I was directed to the self check out yesterday and Wendy helped me through the process. Couldnt have been more helpful. Great store to shop in. I will return.
