Very disappointing experience I'm afraid, the staff were friendly which was this venues saving grace.I had to question if the restaurant was open upon our arrival as the sign showed "Sorry, we are closed", which still showed when we finished.Due to the fact the restaurant was under staffed for the time we arrived (we had booked in advance!) it took nearly 30 minutes just to place a drinks order. Our food order was placed perhaps 15 minutes after this. This is when the real wait began, 45 minute wait for bread. Our mains were mediocre at best, the paella wasn't even comparable to a microwave dish I had a few weeks prior, Tescos own paella dish would destroy Carnaval's with no problem in a competition. Other tapas dishes were practically tasteless and mind numbingly dry, for the dishes that did come with flavour also came with regret, tastes you wouldn't expect from the traditional dishes.I managed to hold back my laughter when asked if we wanted dessert- just the bill please, if we must!A huge shame for the night, I felt bad for the servers as there was perhaps 3 of them in the entire building trying to cook, take orders, make drinks, answer the phone, seat customers. It's not the staff members fault they've been overwhelmed, however feeling guilty for workers doesn't make our meal any better or worth the cost!

I personally consider it the best restaurant of west hill. This is my second time here and the owner recognised me immediately! Love it here!

Visited for the first time recently mid week.We did book as we had been advised of how popular it was and indeed there were quite a few tables being used. The cocktail menu is extensive and they are delicious with very generous measures.Food is really good too, we had a paella and several tapas dishes to share between 4 of us. I really recommend the pork cheek which was so tender. The food took a while to come to the table but to be fair it was all cooked fresh and there was a large group on another table who had ordered before us.We finished off with 2 lots of churros between us and left feeling stuffed.Nice atmosphere and decor and staff very nice too.I would definitely return and recommend it. I would make sure that you book at the weekend as it appears to be popular.

Ate in here Friday night for the first time. Food was absolutely delicious and great selection of wines. My husband had the calamari and the sardines and said they were so fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff are helpful and even the Chef came out and asked if wed enjoyed our food. Can highly recommend! Looking forward to coming back. About time we had something decent in Dartford, we honestly felt like we were on holiday in there was a lovely atmosphere.

Okay, this place has great reviews so maybe we were very unlucky. The tapas dishes turned up at different times, so there wasn't a selection on the table at any time. To end the meal we ordered 2 different dishes..my partners turned up and mine didn't. I waited patiently and told my partner to start with out me...She finished and still mine didn't turn. I gave up in the end and had to approach the counter as it is so difficult to get noticed by the waiters or waitresses. I told them not to worry about my order, for which I got a very half hearted apology. One waitress did say "sorry we haven't been very good tonight". I was so disappointed as I have wanted to go for sometime..There seems to be an uncaring attitude with the staff. I worked in hospitality for sometime and would always make sure people were looked after, if a mistake was made I made sure it was rectified straight away. Obviously I won't be going back.
