Tried to order from here after a very long day at work. Put the order through via just eat and was sent an order reference. Shortly after this we received a text saying that the order was out for delivery. An hour after being sent this message we tried to call the restaurant but they didn't answer so had to go through just eat to get in contact with them. The restaurant finally called us back and tried to tell us that we hadn't placed an order and therefore hadn't even bothered to start making the food. Their response was that they weren't willing to give us a discount but instead kept trying to make us take extra food for free instead which we didn't want or we would have ordered it. After a long time arguing with the woman in the restaurant we asked for a full refund and completely cancelled our order. Terrible restaurant and they're not willing or bothered to try and help when they can't be bothered to make the food you order. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Mediocre. Is the right word to describe mandarin palace, although it tries to compete with the best restaurants around; it's a good place to pop into if you're on a busy schedule or just want some cheap food and it's nearby.It is easily trumped by other oriental restaurants around and although the food is good if you're in a rush - it is nowhere near excellent.

-10 disgusting place food was rank couldn't use the toilet as it was so filthy. The restaurant had cobwebs dirty tables wish I read the reviews wouldn't have gone there it should be closed down. Should rename it grim palace.
I have only eaten here at lunchtimes so can't comment on the evening menu. The food is reasonable though not spectacular. I used to enjoy their squid until they took it off the lunch time menu. Too much space wasted on curly fries, onion rings & other European style delicacies.The cost of drinks is included in the meal where as a few years ago you had to pay for drinks separately. OK but could improve the lunchtime menu with the reintroduction of squid & other dishes no longer available.
