If you are coming by and need to use the Internet, you need a proof of ID. First public library in England I need this. Other than that, good facilities to work and calm atmosphere.
Lots of books covering every area of knowledge for all ages here. The staff and attendants were quite courteous and friendly.The books are well taken care and we fond some that were more than 50 years old here. This is one place I look forward to visiting again.
Very good library with access into the Museum. Computers, seating area and a lovely roof. The recent work to improve the library really is noticeable.
This Grade II Listed library/museum completed during the course of WWI an appealing and engaging presence. An unusual, elegant and accomplished building with a domed cupola and an equally impressive interior. I'm not local, never been here nor likely to ever use this facility but was gobsmacked by the quality and condition of the original fixtures, state of repair and tone of this complex and the helpful staff.Impressive.
Cannot fault the service I received today! Turned up without my library card wanting to use a computer quickly, for the purposes of printing. Was quickly serviced albeit minus my card and was able to easily use the computer and printer. I encountered a number of issues all self inflicted and the staff were friendly and reassuring. When I chose to print the expensive way I was kindly advised of the cheaper alternative and staff were patient with me in achieving this. Having a very stressful morning with my masters in law hand in, the staff really relaxed me! I was able to print and save 8 which as a student was much appreciated! Little to the staff knowledge my masters was actually on community spirit within the borough and I was pleased to see this in action on my hand in date! Very well done Dartford library!
